Oh, and I also bought myself a beautiful bunch of yellow tulips and a bunch of white roses, at one of those street stands that I adore and that are everywhere in Milan. We all have those days when nothing is right and we walk away from all the stores empty handed (or almost empty handed). It isn't you. It's the clothes, it's the retailers, it's the manufacturers, it's the timing. We're kind of between seasons; so they haven't fully brought out all the fun new stuff, they haven't managed to clear out all the old stuff, so selection isn't optimal ATM. Don't stop being picky, or else you could wind up with a closet full of stuff you don't wear; which means that the upside of not buying anything this shopping trip is saving money and not having a closet stuffed with "meh"</p> <p>I think the uniform idea is actually pretty brilliant for a lot of people. Some people have so much on their plate that a uniform of sorts can simplify at least one decision every day. Maybe when you do find some things you like enough to take home, you could line up a few ffbo or "uniform" outfits for those days when you need some simplicity. It doesn't have to be either/or all-or-nothing.</p> <p>(((hugs))) I know it's rough having a shopping day like that. A lot. I'm carrying all my extra weight on my bust and belly too. </p> <p>While I do have a lot of pants, I have officially decided that I look way better in dresses and leggings. I love leggings. Shift dresses are amazing too. So are skirts with a roomy top that hits just the right length. I am short with a short torso so such tops are hard to come by, but I often cut off tops I like to wear just with skirts. Work wonders. </p> <p>As for shopping disasters, we all have such days! Don't give up. And stay picky! With the new stock coming in stores soon, maybe you'll get lucky next time! </p> <p>PS: I totally love uniforms. I have several. Remember, it is not you just the clothes. Soon the stores will be full of new season stock, and hopefully you will have a great selection to choose from. Hours of walking, entering every possible store/shop. Result: I only bought one pant suit. Nothing else. </p> <p>Pullovers: too bulky, too thin, too short, too clingy, dull colors, various embellishments (that&nbsp;I don't like).</p> <p>Pants: ok, I bought one pair (part of the suit).</p> <p>Shoes: pretty but too flat, too high, too pointy (and thus uncomfortable), still a lot of black.</p> <p>I understand that my range of choices is&nbsp;severely limited by two main&nbsp;reasons: 1) I admit that I am veeery&nbsp;picky, and 2) I have all my extra kilograms&nbsp;on my front part, bust and belly, and this makes&nbsp;findig things that fit well extremely difficult. </p> <p>I am starting to consider a uniform. The day that I find something that I like and that flatters me, I buy a stock !! That Zuckerberg is not wrong at all. I am even&nbsp;considering a breast reduction!</p> <p>Ok, end of rant.
