I don't think I have a huge amount of clothes either, it's just a small closet which I share with my husband. I don't think I'd force myself to wait again, but do it when the mood strikes.</p> <p>After looking at a bunch of my pictures from last summer, I just did another purge, but I put the offending items in hidden storage. I'll take them to the consignment store/Goodwill when it warms up. Since you're not a serial purger, I wouldn't worry about letting your maxi dress go. I'm pretty ruthless with my clothes, just need to get that way with shoes now. Sometimes you just know when something is past its usefulness. I know I am okay parting with it, since I only wore it when actually on the beach in FL, 3 times, and cannot envision any way I would wear it in Tahoe summer. Besides it is a bit big and long on me. But then I got to wondering if in general it's a bad idea to purge summer items when the temps outside are below freezing. Are we too far away mentally from wearing those things to have good judgement about tossing them? </p>
