Before I got to the "flip flop" sentence, I was picturing a metallic or animal print wedge heel, and then I'd dress up from there. A simple shape in the dress, especially a black dress, that's most flattering to your body type, will read as anything from casual-to-dressy, depending on what others are wearing. Flip flops are the easiest on grass. Of the options you posted, I think the one on the far left is best. A little skin is fine but I'd keep it drapey and elegant. I'm a little surprised at flip flops because that to me implies VERY casual, but maybe they just didn't want people running out to buy new, terrain-appropriate dressy footwear?
