You know how I feel darling, Tanya. SO happy that you are happy and healthy again. Do what feels right in your heart with the clothes - get rid of them for sure, but consign or pass on to others as you see fit. (((HUGS))).

Congratulations, I noticed that you looked like your fab self in your outfits thread.
I'd consider selling the clothes on Ebay so you can recap some of the cost and put that era behind you.

Congrats on doing better. I agree with trying to sell the clothes. You may get more money back then you think. And it's never good to have clothes hanging around that you don't fit into (whether too big or too small) or that are associated with unhappy memories.

I'm happy for you. When I was in my early 20s, I went under 100 pounds unintentionally too and found it hard to gain it back. I know how that feels to be underweight.

I don't drop weight unintentionally ... now in my mid-30s. :)

I'm glad you're doing well!

Tanya, I'm so happy to hear this news. I definitely agree with the others. Although I know it is hard getting rid of clothing that you spent a lot of money on, they serve as constant reminders of harder times. Free yourself from them! I like Tam's idea of getting some sort of positive talisman to remind yourself of the strength you have.

Tanya I'm so happy to hear that. Yay you for recovering and moving on. I love the idea of consigning and buying yourself something celebratory - some kind of jewellery you can keep as symbolism of what you've survived through and that you did survive, and you've made it!!

BTW, I don't know why, but I've always thought that you're way taller than me

Oh, Tanya, I totally agree with everyone else. I, too, went through something horrible 2 years ago and lost a drastic amount of weight, and so I know what you mean about the relief of getting back to a healthy level. Absolutely, I vote in favor of selling the clothes and reinvesting whatever profit you can make in new clothes that celebrate your healthy weight and recovery!

30s are tricky - metabolism changes, lifestyle changes (sedantary jobs, marriages, pregnany etc). Not to say that every person undergoes any or all of them but I vote in favor of selling.

Oh Tanya that is fantastic news! 94 pounds at your height is really unhealthy I had no idea you were that underweight. Thank goodness you're back to normal.

I think you should consign the clothes. Don't hold onto them. In my opinion getting rid of them will just be another step in getting closure and moving on, and I don't think it's good to assume that you will ever be that skinny again. If you ever have a crisis, I will come and personally spoon feed you cupcakes and make sure you don't get to that point. There are too many negative feelings that accompany those clothes and it's best to just do away with them. I know it's hard since they were expensive, but with the money you make from selling them off you can probably buy some new fabulous pieces. I know you don't get to have as much fun with fashion these days, but I'm sure a new pair of boots from NAS would be acceptable

It seems that I finally back at my normal weight after last years dramatic weight loss due to all the personal crises that have been going on. I am quite happy about it, but it does present me with a dilemma: I had to buy a bunch of super tiny clothes at that point. Most of them still fit, but some, such as pants&jeans don't ( I can zip them, but I feel and look like a stuffed sausage). I am talking about a couple of pairs of premium denim and contemporary dress pants ( Theory and such). What do I do with them? Get rid of them? Or considering that they were quite pricey, keep them folded somewhere away just in case something drastic happens to me again? AT 5'6", I really do not want to weigh 94 lb ever again in my life, but you can not predict the future. Till the crazy events last years, my weight was pretty stable for ~15 years with going up and down of 2 lb the most. But, I am in my early 30s now, so maybe my body is changing.
