I agree with those who think brunette is best ... my natural colour is even darker, so this slightly softer chocolate brunette looks more natural while also being kinder to my skin as I get older.</p> <p>The blonde is fun though and I would definitely do it again - for someone who overthinks most things, I'm actually not too fussed about hair - it grows out/back! In response to my feeling like I needed a big change and was sick of my curly hair getting ruined under hats, I got a trim and went back to straightening this week! I haven't done it since my 20s. But that new hotcomb thingie everyone has been talking about and the fact that I have less hair now and thought it might go quicker made me think it might be a good everyday alternative that weathers well under a hat.
