It's a surgery I remember well (I've had three of them). During my first surgery I woke up and heard a sawing sound -&nbsp;I guess is was some sort of surgical saw.&nbsp;Do you have to wear the boot too, or just the shoe? I wore the shoe until my post-op visit, and then the boot. The pain was a bit disappointing simply because it was completely unexpected. The pain pills seem to be doing their job though:-).</p> <p>Crutcher, I asked at the pre-op appt about the nail polish. The doc said he was fine with it as long as I did it that very day so that any cuticle cuts had time to show up and scab over. I had read about the no polish thing before. So happy he didn't require it! Last pedicure for quite awhile though...so sad.</p> <p>RA, that is so hysterical about truth serum! Did they tell you the part about not making important decisions like car loans and signing documents today?&nbsp;</p> <p>BTW, DH's last colonoscopist told him they switched from Versed (the truth serum drug/sedative) to propofel because of too many divorces. The patients apparently would rat themselves out in the recovery room to their spouses about infidelities, etc., because the Versed tended to linger in the system a lot longer.&nbsp;</p> <p>You sound great!
