The cashmere itself feels sturdier, too, less slippery if that makes sense. The fit is perfection. The danger is that they also ship to the US for a reasonable price and now I have a better idea of sizing. Oh dear!</p> <p>LOL Laurie, re. the white sneaker issue. I packed a pair of silver Joseph Siebel sneakers which were also very comfortable and looked a little sleeker than say, Nikes. FYI, I'm about 90 minutes south of DC...I believe it's time to plan&nbsp;a YLF gathering in the near future with Debora! *cough*</p> <p>Deb, most of the flats I saw were ballerinas. A few smoking slippers. Nearly everybody seemed to be in flat boots, I assume because of the chill. Sadly,&nbsp;no boots for me. We rarely check bags and wearing boots on the plane was impractical, so I stuck to my Cons mostly.
