Since the time when I lived in Spain for a semester 20 years ago I love this length in a pair of pants. Back then, most Spaniards wore their pants much shorter than what I was used to, and I have liked that look since then. In this case, paired with a fab pair of shoes and tights, it looks very elegant and trendy to me. I have one pair of pants like these and should make an effort to dig them out. I think this would work even better if the pants tapered a bit more at the bottom. I know that Angie has a very strong opinion about PPL, and her opinion is very informed and carries a lot of weight, obviously, but nevertheless I'm seeing tons of cropped, tapered, relatively loose pants on the runway and on the street fashion blogs, and I gotta say that I like the look, for the most part! In fact, I now own a few pairs myself, and plan to sport them in the spring just for the fun of it (though I may or may not post the pics here!).
