I know firsthand how large they are. If you're average height or shorter, I'd be careful about wearing this. I work in a business "kinda-formal" environment, so I'm always on the lookout for conservative clothing that has a little more edge to it than a suit. I don't think skinnies are appropriate for my office, sadly, although I do like how it looked in the example that Michael provided. I think dianthus' suggestion is a great one - it all depends on how you style it and work it into an outfit. I've attached a photo that I think gives the lace a bit better definition by adding a colored tank underneath (like dianthus suggests) - black is classic, but I think adding some pop colors would also be fun.
