You know how to dress your body very well. </p> <p>For me, the difference lies in, well, for one thing, my thickening post-menopausal waist, but also I think this kind of detail is harder to employ on a short torso with a large chest — it’s like there’s too much going on in a short span of real estate, LOL! I came to realize that with some dresses that had certain detailing — I do better these days with styles that create a more unbroken line, if that makes sense. I think wearing a jacket with it is tricky. To my eye it starts to look fussy, especially if the scarf ends fall below the hem of the jacket. A longer jacket or coat would be better. But I think it looks fine with a sweater or long sleeve top. It probably works better as a warm weather look, like a lot of more Bohemian looks.</p> <p>Janet, thanks. I’m pretty curvy.
