I agree with the above that a big part of the fun of a gift from someplace far from home is that it is not available at home. Maybe you could prowl their social media to figure out their styles well enough to give them each something not common in Australia that works well with their style.

Hi TG, I agree with Bijou that Lulu is premium and well regarded here. But as she suggested I’d probably go for Aritzia because Lulu is available at B&M here and Aritzia is only available via internet purchase. (With free delivery to Australia I recently discovered, so kudos to them!) It might seem more interesting/exotic to them.

For what it’s worth I bought gifts for my 2 teenage (Australian) nieces when I was in NYC. I got them Hermes style enamel bangles from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I like jewellery from the Met because it is good quality and art inspired. A little unique and local. I know that you are in Canada but maybe there is a local museum that sells interesting jewellery?

Or maybe something made by First Nation or Inuit people?

Whilst I am not in my 20's I do know that we have Lululemon in Australia and it is incredibly popular and definitely seen as a premium brand. It is expensive in Australia, so highly likely to be gratefully received. I have not heard of Aritzia, so that may be even better, something that they cannot buy at home.

Australian fabbers, I'm hoping you might help me with something. My husband's brother's family is coming over from Australia for Xmas this year, and I need to shop for a gift for his two nieces. They are both in their early twenties, and as far as I can tell, uber-stylish. They are both really into health, veganism, and yoga as far as I know. I am thinking about some yoga gear from a Canadian brand - Lululemon or Aritzia maybe. I'm wondering if these brands are known/popular in Australia (or in the case of Lulu, maybe not so popular as it's one of those brands people love or hate), or if you can give me any insight into what the 20-something set might be into (or definitely not into). A bit of a vague question, but I'm truly guessing, so any thoughts would be very helpful! With great thanks xoxo
