Many years ago (I think when I was in college), I remember going to a mall (in the U.S.) that had a Country Road store. I guess they no longer have any shops here now. Maybe I'll be more coherent tomorrow :)</p> <p>Ann Taylor = JacquiE (midrange prices, mostly kinda conversative styles but some really nice pieces too. Thats the Ann Taylor Loft I'm speaking of. Didn't go into an actual Ann Taylor store.)</p> <p>J Crew = Country Road (Weirdly I expected this place to be a dept store rather than a regular store. Mid-highish prices. Again somewhat conservative)</p> <p>BR = Portmans (midrange prices, lots of work-style clothing with some interesting looks and dresses thrown in)</p> <p>Club Monaco = Witchery/David Lawrence (Mid-highish prices. Minimalist but still interesting with some lovely pieces there)</p> <p>Forever 21 = Supre (cheap and fun! Although much less nasty than Supre)</p> <p>Express = ??? (reasonable prices but not super cheap. Trendy but with lots of basics as well. No immediate Aussie equivalent springs to mind unfortunately as I really quite liked this store!!!)</p> <p>Boden = didn't see one of these stores</p> <p>Anthropologie = ?? (mid-high prices for psuedo-boho pieces. Like a Tree of Life mixed with some fancy brand and priced accordingly. Don't think there is a direct Aussie equivalent).</p> <p>Does that help at all??
