It's probably a bit too young and colorful for me, but I love your idea of the citron flats and may play around with color in the shoe category (aqua, red, etc.). I also have some knee-high suede SW boots that I might pair it with and some shorty black boots with black tights. It will be fun to play with this, because as you said in your first post, the dress is both cool and ladylike at the same time.
