Sort of a horrible mustardy ickiness. There was no reasoning that it could work, because I hated it so much. &nbsp;I didn't even unwrap the sandals. But I loved the sandals stylewise, I mean I truly loved them,&nbsp;and thought they would work for walking around Heredia and San Jose in skirts and dresses, so I got them in black. I feel a little bit ashamed (to fall back on black)&nbsp;but these will work with my prints and solids and I will still be wearing a lime green bag! I think I'm more interested in lemon or citron for next time I go for yellow. The sandals were available in cognac but it was a reddish cognac and I know from experience that I'm not happy in that color. No nude/gray/low contrast type of color was available. I wear it as a pop usually. If there's another bright color in the outfit, that helps tie it in. Sometimes I have on yellow shoes but that can also look too matchy matchy. Overall, I just don't worry about it and step out with the yellow bag.
