Seriously awesome, and I love how fantastic they're making you feel- it's coming through in the pics! </p> <p>The thing with top length isn't really a flattery issue, to me. I wear longer tops (within an inch or two of the crotch point) with all my trousers/jeans- not just the skinny ones. I'm a pear like you, so hips/thighs are my trouble spot, but it's not like I'm trying to "cover them up" with the longer tops- it just really creates more pleasing proportions, at least to my eye. </p> <p>That said, I think some of your shorter tops work fine. Whereas my high elastane jeans are only ever worn with looooong tops because they cling - do you think that makes sense?</p> <p>And, I think I'm slowly realising that whilst yes, I am definitely pear shaped, my hips aren't enormous and my curves are actually quite nice and very womanly... Not about to go flaunting them in skin tight clothes (like leggings!) but am quite ok in something like jeans... (I grew up being told I had a horrible figure and being compared to my obese aunties (my dad's sisters - my parents had separated and mum was, still is, a very angry person despite it being 20 yrs later) so I have a few hang ups that I'm working through!)</p> <p>Anyway, I am going to experiment some more - I have a couple of other tops that were in the wash that I wanted to try them with! A couple of longer tops will definitely be experimented with too ;)</p> <p>The colour turned out to be almost black - its a strange colour - but its just not a colour I am totally in love with LOL But not bad for a packet of dye you throw in the washing machine and hope for the best with! And thanks for the handiwork compliments! I'm not in love with the black that I dyed these ones - proper dark denim blue is far more me. And I'm just wearing the one pair of boots in all pics - my dark brown leather pull on boots (my favourite pair of boots!).</p> <p>But, here are a few of the combo's I've come up with now - I had a couple of others, but they just don't look right so I'll think about them another day.
