For me, it was almost an outdoor jacket weight, and this was a dealbreaker, as it was just too heavy for spring and summer in Arizona. Also, not sure I’d want to wear the gingham print in winter, though I think I could get away with it here. —Quite boxy, and though it’s billed as a swing jacket, it has very little swing in reality. —Think I would have preferred this and found it to be more flattering had it not been double breasted. Kyle, I think it will probably hit you where it hits the tall model. You might like that length, or feel it's a bit short. I notice they don't offer it in tall, only in regular and petite. So it might not hit where you'd want it. But if return policies are okay, why not order it to try?  I had a short swing jacket some years ago, but not in a crisp fabric -- mine was in wool. Anyway, I LOVED it.
