I like #2 jean jacket grouping. Go with the white one for a more dressy look. Well done!

For me, the ones with the necklace (also the scarf) are really it. The grey turtleneck sweater is particularly brilliant! Also, I pick the mary jane shoes.

The only one that stands up to me without the "neck interest," is the patterned jacket.

Thanks, Firecracker! I like your ideas of how to pair the outfits with the shoes / boots.

I like all of these looks! I'm having a hard time picking a favorite. You've really shown the versatility of this skirt. I would pair the cardigan looks with booties or boots, to give a little bit of edge to the outfit. And conversely, I might try the Mary Janes with the jeans jacket outfits and the turtleneck. In other words, I would use the shoes to offset or add the traditional/classic elements to these outfits.

I like the very first look -- with the black knit top and grey cardi, and the first denim jacket look best. On your frame, I think a long, lightweight cardi is fab --- creating a long classic, not frumpy line. You might try one punch of color in accessory --- a scarf, tights, shoes, etc. Check out the styling of someone like Ines de la Fressange. She has an incredible eye for perfect proportion, but she often chooses very simple, classic pieces. In each of these pictures, she has a perfect, easy fit and high-quality bags.

I like the jean jackets best too. For a more casual feel, the blue one and for a more polished look, the white. I like the outfits best when the grey band/belt is a bit higher, as in the first outfit in #1 as well as the jean jacket outfits.

I really like both denim jackets with it, but the white is a little more polished if it's for work. I love how versatile your skirt is. Want!

Thanks, everyone - which jean jacket though? Blue denim (that's a dark denim, I also have the AE distressed denim, didn't photograph it), or the white denim?

All stylish, but # 2 set with jean jacket is just that much more au courant. Like the grey turtle neck sweater also. Sleek, and dare I say a little sexy? No scarf.

Day Vies, they fit pretty much they way they look on my sewing double, it is adjusted according to my measurements.

I'm not really sure what my style descriptor is. For work, I am going for stylish with a bit of trendy/current details. My favorites always seem to be a mix between classicly feminine and urban. I like the unexpected - denim and pencil skirts, leather with lace.

#2 regardless of how it fits on your body none of those looks could be matronly. Cardigans can lean matronly -- it depends on the fit and how you're wearing it. I think #3 is a great look too. I don't think you need the scarf but if you wear it, the scarf would look nice with the boots.

What is your style descriptor? It would help to know what you're going for. Also I am not sure how these items fit on you, but playing with sizing (fit) can also change the look of a piece dramatically. Baggy/ undefined cuts are matronly to my eye.

Pil, the color camel is, for whatever reason, a real wardrobe hole for me. I have no shoes in that color, and the only boots in that color are cowboy-style boots. My only heels / dressy boots are dark brown or black.

Karie, I'm probably more matronly than I like to admit so take my comments with a big grain of salt.

The most appealing looks to me are those with the black top and also the plain white blouse. I can't put a finger on why, but I prefer the denim jackets in 2 over the one in 4. The gray turtle neck is nice with it too. So, I certainly have not helped you narrow it down!

What about adding a camel bag and boots or shoes?

I started this yesterday when I asked about wearing this skirt with my long sweater and t-shirt (the T has a pretty detail at the color which you can't see in the photos). Here are your suggestions with what I have in my closet. I threw in a couple of other outfit combinations just for good measure.

I really like the skirt, but it seems to me that most of what i pair with it looks sort of matronly, which is NOT the style descriptor I'm going for! In photo group 3, the second pic is a black cardi with a ruffle detail at the top, just like the peach one I posted last week. The third pic in that group is a lace-look cardi.

I know it's hard to see things properly on my sewing double, but your suggestions are always welcome. I put some different footwear at the bottom - tall boots, booties, and Mary Janes. I was planning to wear sheer off-black stockings or black micro-fishnets.
