OK...how about this...from *iris to iris*..(about 2 inches across) cut and texturize to *just at brow*...very fringey..the sides left longer. This is very current and fuss free , and SUPER CUTE!! It eliminates any possibility of the *dutch boy look* because it doesn't go across the entire forehead. But bear in mind it must be texturized:)

Also check out : Short-hairstyles.com

There are tons of bang ideas and styles:)

Hmm yeah mine are definitely not that long. As mine grow out they just fall in my face even more, which is why I always lose patience and cut them myself. The piece that hits at the bottom of the nose actually DOES hit at the bottom of the nose because I can never get them to stay on the side.

I think I need to go shopping for a different style. Ugh, I hope I don't have to go back to straight across bangs, but I have to have SOME kind of bangs because I really do not look good without them.

Oh thanks Maya. I am honored:)

This type of bang works better if it is a little longer. In otherwords too long to fall straight across your forehead. Also it should be cut with a slight angle..shorter on one side , and graduates longer to the other side.

Because your problem may be they are not long enough, and therefore fall straight. I find they work best on my clients if they go some thing like this:

cut the shortest piece..bottom of eye.. graduate to bottom of nose ... then to bottom of cheek in a sweeping motion:) then blow dry w/round brush and style to the side.

You can of course vary the length of the bang according to overall length of your hair...but this is a good general:)

Hope that helps:)

edit : hit w/ a quick shot of hairspray

I need a hair expert so Taylor came to mind, but anyone else can chime in :)

I'm going to need a haircut pretty soon and I really need to "fix" my bangs. They look nice when they stay in place, but most of the time they don't do that and they drive me crazy. Is there a way to cut them or style them that will help maintain the angle and keep them from falling straight in my eyes and face?
