Hi Ana - I've been thinking about you & missing you on the forum! I have yet to wash those Velvet dresses (still too chilly here for much summer dress wearing). But I would definitely advise sizing up. Normally I would be a size S, but I wasn't comfortable with the length, and considering possible laundry shrinkage, I went with the M, which hits just above my knee (I am 5'4"). They had the dress (in other colors, not the green or navy that I bought) on http://www.tobi.com.

I did check out the Ellassentials dresses online - very cute!

Good luck with finals!!

Hi Ana! Super to hear from you again! It looks like you've scored some pretty dresses the last few months, hopefully you'll be able to post some pictures when school gets less busy. We miss you!

Hi Laura!

I saw you posted about a dress you recently bought. It was a really cute short sleeve, light green dress. The brand was Velvet (I think). I was wondering how it has worn for you, and how the sizing runs? Have you washed it yet? Has it shrunk, etc? There are several other dresses I've seen by this brand and I was thinking of picking up one or two.

Also, if you or anyone else is looking for other knit, washable dresses, I've had luck with Ella Moss (I have 3 of her "Ellassentials" dresses, they are wonderful), and also Curtsey (I found a great dress on Bluefly). Both of those brands run true to size, similar to J. Crew or BR.

Thank you!
