Thanks for the tips. I'll try to follow Greg's wonderful step by step instructions when I get a break from work. Until then, firefox is getting me by.

Hi Traci,

I just wanted to add that I had the same problem a while back and after enabling Javascript (as Greg explained), I also had to clear the cache of my web browser. After that everything was back to normal again.

Traci, one reason this would happen is if Javascript support is disabled in the browser.

Here's how to get to this setting:
- click the little wrench / spanner icon near the top right of the window
- click the "under the hood" tab
- click "content settings..."
- click the "Javascript" item on the left
- is "allow", the recommended option enabled?

I use Chrome most of the time and the popup photo display does work for me. Once in a blue moon it will go directly to a separate page if the page loads a little slowly and I click the photo before the Javascript has loaded completely.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if the problem persists.

Hmm...weird. I'm using chrome right now. Let me try a different browser.

eta: It's working as usual in firefox. Maybe dh changed a setting in chrome? Switching browsers is easy enough. Thanks Kari!

Traci, I haven't experienced this issue with pictures that people post - I still receive a pop-up that allows me to click "next" and "previous" to move between different pictures.

What browser are you using? I tested this out on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer and it works fine on all 3 from my PC.

Hi Greg,
I noticed that for the last few days when I click on a picture at the bottom of a post, it directs me to a full page with just that picture. Before, it opened a small window with the picture, that had next, previous and close options. Now I just get the one picture and have to use my browser to navigate back and then select the new picture.

Is there any way to get the old way back? I loved it for clicking through a whole set of pics.

thanks!
Traci
