Interesting possibility. Option 1 has the big advantage of having all questions and suggestions regarding one item in one thread, but threads in the forum move so fast these days. So I can definitely see why you would opt for 2 as well.
(Do you think there's a way to directly link to all the separate threads about 1 item on the page of that particular item in the store. Perhaps that would make it more manageable?

MPJ, I have these boots at home, but can't put them through their paces because it suddenly hit 80F down here. I can tell you, however, they are super delicious and comfy.

As for the possible store feature, I like the sound of no.1.

Yes, it makes total sense. :)

We've talked about this before and it is on my list. The only reason the feature doesn't exist today is that we haven't figured out exactly how it should work.

For example, we don't think there should be a forum thread for EVERY store item by default because people only want to talk about some of them.

So...

1. should there be one thread associated with a store item based on whoever is first to start it off, or...

2. should it be possible for multiple people to start different threads that are associated with an item, or...

3. something else?

I have my thoughts but I am interested to know what you think.

I don't know if anyone is really using this feature yet on the new Nordstrom's site, but one thing that has come up frequently for me when I peruse the items in the YLF store is that I often have additional styling questions about an item (despite Angie's lovely descriptions).

For example (and I will start a new thread for this) - I just saw the Boutique 9 ankle boots and I'm just curious if others are considering this boot, how they're planning on styling it and if it would fit into my own personal wardrobe...it would be nice to just click a link right on that store page that maybe connects back to "Dressing" in the YLF forums - maybe to a group type thread just on that one item. Hm, does that even make sense?

Or maybe I'm just loopy from lack of sleep. lol.
