I think Patience tried them on with the jacket. They are not lined. We couldn't really get the "crotch whiskering" effect to go away, even by sizing up, but that might not be an issue for you. They are extremely "straight fitting" around the hips,&nbsp;if that makes sense&nbsp;(but most Theory pants are).&nbsp;I'd say the quality is fine, except for the lack of lining. The wool was smooth. If you have the jacket, then you'll know what the fabric is like.&nbsp;</p> <p>I don't know. If you never wear suits, it's probably not worth it. On the other hand, you could always order them while they're on sale and see if they work for you and you love them. If they don't, take them back. </p> <p></p> <p>ETA: I like the way they have the jacket&nbsp;styled with the shirt and denim in the product photo best. If you really wanted to wear this jacket to a dressier occasion, you could layer it over a sheath dress in a complimentary color (cream, caramel, for instance), or full length trousers, kind of like a sport coat. J.
