I've seen a bunch of forums that have classified sort of sites. I have bought and sold a few items through the j crew aficionada forum and I know others have through the effortless anthro site. The transactions are independent of the site (usually done through paypal) and the site owner takes no responsibility though with the J Crew one, she does try to limit the resellers who are just trying to make a profit. I think the swap is a great idea but unless it's a fairly large group, I don't see how it will work that well except for accessories when there is not a good diversity of sizes.

There is a site that a blogger started to share unwanted clothes. It's called Laws of General Economy. http://thegeneraleconomy.blogspot.com/ It's not for profit, but a bit of money to cover some of the original cost and shipping is involved. And the winner of an item is chosen by random, and all money transactions are paypal. With that format, only a few people can post things to share, so I suppose it doesn't get out of hand. If you click on the link, her guidelines and objectives for the site are on the right hand column. I have never bought or sold things there, but I might post things to share if YLF had something like this.

Another site that I follow (Alterations needed) has recently added a marketplace section specifically for petite sizes- as far as I know things are going well there but the site is not as big or popular as this one.

I'm excited about the possibility of an Aussie YLF swap!

I've been noticing a lot of people talking about clothes they have recently discovered aren't working for them or don't fit. I don't know if this has even been discussed before, but would you ever consider starting a YLF Classified section? Somewhere for everyone to sell clothes that are still great, but not working for whatever reason and somewhere for everyone to get decent priced used clothing. I know I'd love it so I just thought I'd ask.
