Not feeling the turtleneck idea unless you put together a funky '70s outfit with just the right amount of "modern". But I can see a pullover worn over the top with cami for extra warmth.

I would! I'm not familiar with your style, but I'm funky and trendy so I would do it in a minute. I would say a black turtleneck that is fitted.....

Not Angie but I would wear a turtle neck under the blouse providing the gauge is fine enough. I think it would look very Prada~esque.

Thanks everyone. The reason I am asking Angie is that she has written that she wears turtlenecks in winter like a cami.
(I wore them with a long sleeve layering tee underneath)
I really like having my neck covered in winter. I wear turtlenecks most days. My house is unheated and so are most of the enviroments I am in. While I could wear a scarf, I find them too fiddly to wear in the house,. I do often wear them outside, but they would hide the main detail of this blouse, which is the main point in wearing them.
And to reiterate - I was cold INSIDE (at church). I run cold, but lots of others were commenting on the coldness too!

missvee, my sister has been recommending merino underneath layers too - I may investigate. Still don't know how I'd go with my neck uncovered.

I wouldn't wear it with a turtleneck underneath, no. A camisole, maybe. I'd be more likely to put a jacket (blazer) on top.

Icebreaker makes great lightweight merino wool underlayers, primarily for sports, but they would be very cosy under a blouse too.

I like the top on you, but would not layer with a turtleneck. Deborah's and Lyn D's suggestions are great

Hi Anne,
I missed previous post- they all look great!
I agree with Deb. that with the detail at the neckline a roll-neck underneath wouldn't work.
What about a denim or wool vest or cardigan on top (as well as a cami. underneath), and you can still add jacket for extra warmth when out-side?

Anne I will be interested to see what Angie says:) Personally I wouldn't layer a turtleneck under the blouse. Can you slot the blouse into Spring and Autumn wear when its not so cold but not too warm for long sleeves.

I think it might be a tiny bit short for pants/jeans, but how about a semi tuck with jeans? Or even a full tuck? Or do you have any skirts that you could wear the blouse untucked with. I find my shorter blouses look better over a skirt than pants.

I bought this in May (p/b blouse in pic 4)
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....zibuy-haul

But haven't worn it that much because every time I'm too cold, even with a layering tee under and a jacket over.

Would you wear it with a turtleneck underneath?

Also, I only wear it with one skirt, since only one of my skirts fits properly to tuck at the waist. Is it too short to wear with jeans?
