I am a pretty pear and have tried the swishy skirt many times in hopes that it would work and it is far to much fabric. I ended up looking wider than I am. I bought the inverted pleat skirt that Sarah suggested this summer and it is wonderful. I have bought it in almost every color and it is fabulous. Too much swoosh. You end up feeling bigger than you are. I was wondering if this style of skirt (in the denim fabric) would work for her? She currently has a denim skirt that is the same style, only it's very long, about lower calf-length. It is worn out and faded, but she really loves the style, and wants to replace it with something similar.
