True, true... I forgot your mom could tailor them, if needed.
Keeping fingers crossed for you!

I have pulled the trigger and ordered studio stretch in white. I have decided to size up though because I remember studio stretch in another color was a bit tight in my size. I hope my mom will be able to alter them: as she says - you can always make something smaller but cannot make it bigger.
Fingers crossed...

I agree with Tanya. Go with the studio stretch.

In terms of size, I find the editors are not consistent at all. I ended up with two different sizes, for the same studio stretch pants. The only difference was the color.

Regardless, I'd go with the same size Angie okeyed, on the ones we both have. THe white ones you are looking at, are exactly the same pant we own.

I have also seen them both. The cotton ones are pretty thin, so I would go with studio stretch. Mine loosen up with wear, and washing makes them snap right back.

Thanks Angie - do you think I need to size up or go with the size I got in my trousers from Chicago?

Well. Of course, I've seen them :)

The Studio Stretch will probably fit better.

After having a success with my first pair of Editors I am looking at 2 white Editors trousers from Express:
These cotton sateen ones:
http://www.express.com/cotton-.....1b2166c62d

and these Studio Stretch ones:
http://www.express.com/studio-...../index.pro
They both machine washable which is good because I cannot afford dry clean only white trousers which need to be cleaned after each 1-2 wears...

Has anybody seen them in person? Is the fabric substantial enough for white trousers? As I would need to order from US it is quite expensive in shipping and duties so I need to be at least reasonable sure they may work.

As you see I am really on a quest to get those elusive white bottoms...
