Button downs and tunics, too. You and I are about the same size -- I also am a rectangle with long legs (36").</p> <p>I think the key to your tops is going to be adequate length to add proper balance, as well as the right fabrics that skim. One idea might be to try tall sizes in your tops for that added length. J. Crew, Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy are among the US stores that offer talls, but there are other options, too. Not sure how dressy your special event is, or what type of weather you are dealing with. Im rectangle shaped with apple&nbsp;tendencies, 5"9 tall, short necked, short bodied and small chested. Size ten uk or 8 us. inside leg is 34". I mostly wear bootcut pants and jeans as they seem to balance my bottom half but tops are so hard for me. I am reading away in the forums and post on here for ideas but have not found anything that really works with my top half,. Please give any advice you can i have a special event to dress for next weekend and am really starting to panic. Thanks so much&nbsp; </p>
