So if I were going to a Broadway type show in my town, I would wear a cute cocktail type dress and heels. I would also use a wrap for warmth. 55 degrees isn't warm but it isn't cold either, so the wrap should be warm enough. If dresses aren't your thing then I would wear trousers, a dressy top and heels. Basically, I think you should dress up, have fun, keep it current and not too serious. You are out with the girls for a fun evening. Let your style reflect that as well.
