It sounds like might be more of an hour glass than a pear, but a photo would help pin this down (you can hide your face.) </p> <p>In general, I'd say the cut of the skirt is more important than the color. If you're an hourglass, an A-line or pencil cut would probably work best. I am 5'8" and have a healthy body weight. I have a pear shape in the sense that I have curvier hips and thighs. However, I also have a strong shoulder line, average-sized bust, and a kind of defined waist.<br /> I've been reading that pears should wear darker colors on bottom and bring the focus up on top.
