I am sooooooooooooooo sorry for this long overdue "thanks" to your responses/suggestions! Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa :)

I finally worked out a solution for my "what to wear" question... I have created a casual "capsule" (black or dark wash denim jeans, v or pullover sweater, lightweight khaki jacket, flats, tote and scarf) which I wear while commuting. The capsule runs along the lines of casual weekend but is perfect since my commute includes a bit of walking, public transportation and cool San Francisco mornings. Once I arrive at my fulfillment job, I change into the company tee ( black with logo and which 80% of the staff wear) and switch to fun, comfy sneakers ( which are currently polka dots!). With this work "uniform", I save wear and tear of my "good" clothes, no new clothes needed and I have created a work look that I feel comfortable and appropriate in. Whew!

I am onto closet clean out so you'll be hearing more from me in 2016 - Happy New Year!!

I second the dressy sweatshirts and silky tees. If you have some that are great except too short or too low cut, pop a long tank (Target has them) underneath for modesty.

Greetings!

It has been quite a long time since I last posted but I continue to follow YLF daily!

Need wardrobe advice - although retired for a few years now, I recently picked up a fun part time job in the fulfillment dept of a start up in San Francisco. I work alongside fun, energetic 20 year olds (none are over 23,) in a tech environment and package promotional items. I am looking for suggestions of age/work appropriate comfy tops. I tried tee shirts ( (too casual) and button down blouses (too stuffy). I do lots of bending over and reaching so no v or scoop necks or short length tops. I wear dark and light wash blue denims, converse type sneakers which fits in with the vibe of the rest of my co-workers without trying to look too young or like their mother! Any suggestions on tops to consider is appreciated as always!
