It is warm - with something else on underneath- and my hubby bought it for me. I think I would like it better if it were longer, almost tunic-y. However, those sweaters really are timeless. And functional, very warm. Do you have occasion to wear it doing any winter sports? ( although now there are so many high tech fabrics if function is important.) if you have the room to keep it, I would.
