EXACTLY. It was the Tahari jacket that came to mind. Size 2 sounds like the best educated guess.

Thanks for chiming in, Angie -- that's helpful, or at any rate, it echoes my own thoughts precisely. Maybe I'll stick with the 2 and hope they still have the 0 if I do need to exchange. It's in stock now, which is a good sign. My Nicole Miller sheath like yours is a size 2, if that helps (and it fits snugly -- as I think it is meant to -- but well). My David Meister sheath is a slightly looser 2.

And remember a few years ago when I was considering that absolutely stunning jacket at NAS, Tahari, I think? You guessed I'd need the 0 (but this was before we'd met in person) and in fact the 2 was a better fit for me.

Hmm. Not sure. I think you might prefer the shoulder fit of the size 2, but the size 0 will also work.

I know. The reviews are kind of unhelpful in that regard. Mine is actually at the store but I am not home till Sunday.

Thanks, Una. Hopefully Angie and maybe Viva will pop on here with advice. They've both seen me in person.

I stayed with the 2 on the theory that it would probably work best for my shoulder line, and a little looseness is not a bad thing in this style. But I don't want to have it super baggy, either.

I went with a 6, Suz - haven't gotten it yet. 2 sounds right for you as I think I am 1 or 2 sizes up from you on top. ARGH!

Angie, so sorry to bug you -- should I have sized down in the Vince dress? TrueFit said my size was 2. The measurements on the size chart looked a bit big in hips and bust but on the borderline (a size down would have been snug on bust, maybe). Should I order the 0 to be on the safe side?

Thank you!
