I hadn't thought about a denim skirt. That might work well.

The new tees are on order right now, so I'll try to remember to post a pic when the come in.

Thanks, Angie!

Okay. It is what it is and we have to work with it – t-shirt and all! Can you give the T a bit of a waistline, have it taken in at the side seams perhaps?

Try adding a nice denim skirt and a comfortable casual wedge sandal when it’s really hot. Or a comfy mary jane flat or ballet flat. It’s easy in colder weather because you can pull on jeans and a great pair of cowboy boots. It would help if I had a visual of you in the T, so if you manage that, it would be great.

yep! It would definitely make it easier if not.

The tees are not the athletic type. They are a smoother fabric with nicer hems and necklines. One is a v-neck, which is my favorite neckline to wear, and one is a scoopneck. I know they're still not what you would choose By the time winter shows roll around again, I can probably incorporate a long sleeve button up or a cardigan, but for the next 6 shows or so, they'll be outdoors in hot, humid weather.

Hi Merry and welcome to the forum. Before I answer your question, are you compelled to wear the logo T?

I've read your blog off and on for a year or so and love your style recommendations. Everyone else is welcome to offer input.

I go to several trade shows each year and have to wear a lovely polo shirt or knit top with our company logo on the left chest.

I'm in the agriculture industry, so a lot of people (exhibitors and attendees) are wearing jeans and cowboy boots. There is also lots of trade show khaki and polo or pullover combos. Several shows are outdoor shows, so it can be fairly dusty. Comfortable shoes are an absolute necessity for the 3 or 4 days of standing 8 hours.

I would love to look sharp, but I don't want to look out of place. I'm a pretty pear, size 14/16 ish. I do have the benefit of having some decent colors to work with - a medium blue (not royal or cobalt, not pastel or country) and pale emerald. Any advice?
