I think that is a shame and wonder where you bought them. Can you return them because they have shrunk in length so much? You may be surprised when you return them that the customer service will be understanding and you won't have to live with their inferior fabric choices. I'm sure you wouldn't have purchased these shirts if you had known they would shrink like that. Give it a try and then shop somewhere else I'd say.
Hope it works out for you.

I wear button-up tops over camis in the summer sometimes, almost like a cardigan.

SweetCarolina, you can wear sweaters or jackets over them when the weather turns cold but I'm not sure how you can salvage them in Summer.

When I started working, I bough three basic, smart button up shirts. After the first wash, I'm not impressed anymore. The problem is that while they fit through the arms, bust and waist, they're too short. The fall right above the waist when I wear jeans and they're almost too short to tuck in...as soon as I stand up straight, it falls out. Is there any way to salvage these tops?
