I'll be honest though: I bought them because they fit my narrow calves, but part of the reason they fit is because of the adjustable buckle at the top. Gorgeous. I have one pair of boots with a three-inch heel, though, and I wish the Fryes were just a tad lower. There's a big difference in my ability to run around in 2 or 2 1/2-inch heels and 3-inch heels.
