The key is that they are tall FOR ME - which is at most a 15" height. Depending on the length of your lower leg you can find a height that is your sweet spot and go from there. Shorter skirts are generally better for us in this connection rather than midis (well, the old-style midis), especially ones that get wider at the bottom. But it always depends. There's no substitute for trying things on. Tucking skinnies into boots works too. Never thought I would do that, but sometimes it's just the thing.</p> <p>I find, BTW, that many of my boots don't come all the way up to the knee. Boots that stop a few inches from the knee might fit better because they don't have to follow the specific leg shape so closely all the way up.
