I love these on you too! I can't address the length except for the jeans in #1--I had a pair with break like that and ended up hemming them a bit. It got rid of that funky look. You have such a cute figure!

The fit on you is really great. When you have the length sorted they will be 10 x 2
I am sure.

OK, I totally got sidetracked in thinking about different types of SL jeans and forgot to say: I think these look really good on you. I would keep them. I like them longer than the video, but just .5 to 1 inch shorter than as you've pictured them in #1.

They look like 14-15" openings, perfect.

Hbaber and Sveta, thanks! I'm too tired to re-pin tonight, but I'll try to do it tomorrow morning before work. I'm glad everyone thinks they look flattering, I almost didn't get them because the fit confused me; good thing I like to buy now, ask questions and return later!

Modgrl, thanks for the input and yes, these heels are representative of the height I wear most and will be wearing with these pants. #3's length now officially has a universal "too short" so I'll definitely be trying a longer length and asking again later tonight

Denise, I was hoping for a fit like that shown in the video for these pants (and I'm just noticing that online there is a petite option but in store there was not...):
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=673940

But I think I need skinnies to get that fit since my legs aren't remotely an even thickness like the model's are; even though this pair doesn't fit the way it does in that video, it's still appealing to me. Not sure what the hem opening is, I'll have to measure that when I get home.

I like straight leg jeans with a 14" leg opening. My favorites are from 7FAM. I have some straight leg True Religion jeans with a 17" opening, these look more like boot cuts. So it depends on what you're going for -- straight leg jeans with a skinny vibe (like those pictured here) or SL jeans with a boot cut vibe ( I don't have a picture, sorry.)

I agree with the others, the length needs to be a little less than picture #1.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I wear the 7FAM with a 14" opening several times a week compared to the TRs which I don't put on very often in spite of great fit and comfort.

Hm perhaps my eyes are confusing straights with skinnies then. And if so, then I am not sure this is the pant style I'm after. Would still love to hear what you think, Angie

They look like straight legs to me too, Aida. Particularly from the front shot. I see that they look a little "boot cut" from the side, but they are really cute on you! I think they are a great length with those pumps you have on. Isn't that our PPL goal?

Thanks for the input! The hem doesn't feel terribly skinny to me; I've attached a photo that shows me in a super-skinny hem for slimness comparison. They do feel a tad long, but the back doesn't drag so if I kept them this length I'd probably have to shorten just the front part? I tried folding them longer than in #3 but it just looked like incorrect PPL to me :\

Those pants look great on you! As for the straightlet/bootcut question, to me they look straight. I think of bootcut as flaring out to accommodate the shaft of a boot, whereas these look pretty skinny through the ankle to me. From the front, they definitely look too long, so I think that hemming them would be a good idea.

I bought these GAP "Real Straight" jeans to replace a pair that's on its last legs, but I'm feeling a bit confused about the fit now. I feel they look more like a bootcut on me than straight (see #2) and break kind of funny from the front (see #1). So my question then: should I have them hemmed up like in #3 (which still looks a little too flared to me?), replace with a slightly skinnier pair at the height of #3, are they fine and I'm just being silly, or is it something else entirely? Thank you!!

EDIT: Adding a photo of my ankles in super-skinnies for reference (#4).
