I love my non RX sunglasses and don't feel complete without them on a sunny day. I don't know how anyone not wearing glasses could resist a chic pair of sunglasses.

Last year I considered getting some RX sunglasses to wear on days when I'm too tired or lazy to wear contacts, but I couldn't find any that I liked. I can't wear the shape I normally like because it curves too much to accommodate my prescription, so I would have to go for small lenses. It would have been a large expense for unsatisfying results, so I just dropped the idea.

My mom is an ophthalmic assistant and insists on me wearing sunglasses. All that sun damage is just as bad for your eyes as it is for your skin, so I would recommend a pair for sure.

I do love the way the way my specs look, Shannon, and I absolutely need them because life is a blur without them. I won’t wear contacts so I HAD to make specs work.

I wear my specs whenever I am out of the house. They go on as soon I’m out the door. I am nearsighted so I can’t use them to read, cook or work on the computer. I need them to read signs, drive, watch movies and identify detail at a distance. This covers pretty much everything outside my home.

I have pair of prescription sunglasses that I never wear. I keep my specs on instead. I do not seem to have a problem with the glare of the sun. My specs seem to take care of this but they do not change colour. They are somehow anti-reflective? I can’t explain it. I also never seem to squint. I’m outside all the time because I’m an urbanite but I do not require sunglasses. So I don’t have the whole swopping specs things going on in my life. Hope that sheds some light.

You have said that your look would not be complete without your specs. You obviously wear them because you love the look, not just because you need them. I love the way my glasses look on me. Sometimes I think I look better with them than without. I don't often wear them because I have contacts and I need my sunglasses rain or shine. What do you do about sunglasses? Do you have a RX pair of glasses? Do you change them when you go in and out of doors? That is such a hassle. Do you think you look better with your glasses on? I am thinking about getting a non RX pair just for looks, but wondering if I would even bother to wear them. Thanks!
