I have one pair, in more a boat shoe style, and they go with very few outfits. I also find that a larger heel in the width is tough to wear. So I would say the color throws them off and maybe the style a little? But I'd like to see the tan color with some outfits because I do think they fit your style and you can pull them off with some interesting combinations.
