I was trying them on with a pair of new black ankle pants, and the pants flared out a bit above the ankle (I have skinny calves, so ankle pants can flare out a bit there if they're not tapered enough). The Sole Society shoes are indeed very comfy. I think that there must be something about how the heel is positioned under the foot—same goes for the Okalas. Very stable. And for the price, you can't beat it! The black was even cheaper than the silver.</p> <p>I may be returning the Okalas. I have a very small frame, and the wide strap/buckle and the extremely long pointy toe look a little out of place on me. I know that you are not of large frame. Did you feel like the Okalas overwhelmed you at first? I ordered 6.5, my usual size. In heels, I sometimes wear a 6, but the Nordstrom sizing thingamajig that calculates your best fit told me that the Sole Society shoe runs a bit small—so 6.5 was recommended.</p> <p>I received the shoe today, and I feel like the toe box is a bit narrow. Does it stretch out much with wear, Angie? I will also say for comparison that I bought the Okalas in store yesterday, but I had to go down to a 6 because the toe box was too big.</p> <p>Thank you! </p>
