Having a senior moment, apparently! What I really meant to ask about is a more dropped shoulder, like this:

http://bananarepublic.gap.com/.....=674027002

Kyle, this post might be helpful:

http://youlookfab.com/2013/08/.....an-sleeve/

Raglan sleeves do a marvelous job of narrowing a broad shoulder line, and broadening a dainty one. They are magical, just like diagonal lines.

1. We can all wear them. Plenty of structure. But fabric is key. I suspect you'll want one in a drapey and dressy fabric - instead of a stiff sweatershirt shirt fabric.

2. A strong shoulder line is a broad and square shoulder line. Pointy shoulders. IT's have very strong shoulder lines. Narrow shoulders - like mine - or sloping shoulders are the opposite of a strong shoulder line. Narrow shoulders that are very square - like mine (I'm only making the reference to myself because you have seen me in person a few times, which I thought would help!) - tend to create a stronger line in clothes than narrow shoulders that slope.

Some clothing is best suited to strong shoulders - and some clothing is best suited to dainty shoulders. Raglan sleeves are magical on both. Hope that makes sense.

This is 2 questions in 1:

Raglan Sleeves: Who can wear them best? I keep trying, and can't figure out why I never think they work. Too slouchy? Not enough sense structure? Maybe others find this confusing, too.

Strong Shoulder Line: Does the answer to the raglan issue connect to having or not having a strong shoulder line? You refer to this quite often in your fab find recommendations, and I'm not quite sure how one determines what constitutes a strong shoulder line. It feels a bit subjective, unlike say, a small or large bust.

Thank you for helping me, and hopefully others, better understand.
