J Crew used to be my go-to but I have found the fits are not so good on my now a bit curvier 40-yr-old body. I have bought two suits from them, after trying on and returning many different styles. Their return policies are easy peasy. They also sell all the swim gear you might want, from snorkels to shampoo. </p> <p>I have also bought bathing suits on Amazon from a company called Beautyin. For obvious reasons, I try to shop "needs" first. I need to replace a swimsuit this year, but I've been browsing the usual suspects and nothing is floating my boat. How often is new swimwear released? If I like nothing now, when can I declare that I'll just look again next season and repurpose those funds for something else? </p>
