kh,
Dresses are hard and I love wearing them. Most of mine aren't appropriate but a few that are have necklines where you can pull one side apart a bit for feeding (with a cloth or cardi over the top if necessary)

http://i297.photobucket.com/al.....0_6082.jpg
http://i297.photobucket.com/al.....dress4.jpg (not a super picture with regard to layering and shoes but hopefully neckine is showing)

It is harder to wear dresses at first when they are little and need encouragement to attach etc - easier when a quick flash of nipple is all they need!
Nursing dresses seem rather pricy, in my experience

I'm reading in posts here that dresses are great post-partum. I'm kind of scratching my head. Those of you wearing dresses are you nursing? I find that it is very difficult to find a nurse-in-public friendly dress unless you buy a nursing dress specifically.

What kind if dress can I nurse in while still being discrete? I'm a veteran breastfeeder, but I have not worn many dresses since I had children because I simply stopped trying to find dresses I could nurse in.

agrace,
Your baby is just a couple weeks younger than mine. I finally went out and bought three pants that fit me now. For those three pants I spent $60 total. It makes me feel so much better to have pants that fit. If I loose more weight perhaps I'll have these pants taken in.

I'm looking for a wrap skirt, but haven't found one yet.

Hi,
Read this post a couple of hours ago but couldn't comment as I was breastfeeding!
Anyway welcome to the forum; there are lots of Mums here. (I joined last year about 3 months after my third child)

Angie,
I've been reading your posts for a while and have never commented but have learned a lot from reading them. I am approximately 10 weeks postpartum after birth of second baby. I have probably 10 lbs left to lose but I also know that after two babies my actual shape has changed (hips a bit wider, etc etc - I'll spare you all the details!)

I currently stay at home with my two children but do a variety of activities for which I prefer to look polished. I've read your posts for stay at home mom fashion and those were most helpful.

I guess my fashion question is two fold: First, what would you advise I purchase or find in my closet to wear as I am continuing to lose weight and tone?
Secondly, any additonal advice you can lend on how to look polished while doing the very cliche sounding trips to the playground, library, market, etc etc., would be most appreciated.

Thank you much!
