THAT has become a classic, and is not dated at all. It's styles with a high front platform noses that have *virtually* seen their day.</p> <p>Denise, you are spot on about wedges - and refined wedges are very on trend. Some of the styles you linked to in shopbop actually look quite dated to me - and I popped them in below - #1 to #4. </p> <p>BUT! To your point, people will still wear them because things take a while to faze out. My hunch is that a proper heel is more trendy than a wedge heel at this point, but wedge heels are surviving because I think shoppers like them. (Myself definitely included.) For a high heel shoe to be walkable and comfortable without a wedge, it needs to be extremely well constructed, like the Rag &amp; Bone Newbury. Whereas the wedge heel can be a cheaper shoe but still quite comfortable.
