A lot of speakers seem to end up in LBDs for this event, but I don't want to look like I'm trying to avoid being seen on stage. My style runs toward classic pieces&nbsp;without too much fussy detail in bright colors,&nbsp;so I'm leaning toward the dress I'm wearing&nbsp;in the attached photo, which you can see in more detail <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.polyvore.com/fit_flare_seamed_dress/thing?id=32232085">here</a>.<br /><br />I have two questions for you. First, how can I cover my arms a bit without losing&nbsp;the waist definition of this dress? Maybe some kind of lace or mesh jacket/sweater? Or a cropped cardigan? Other ideas? The auditorium shouldn't be cold, so this is just for psychological comfort.<br /><br />Second, what shoes should I wear? I have low-heeled pumps in black or cream, the sandals in the photo (<a rel="nofollow" href="http://thumbs.findheels.com/medium/aerosoles-latte-silver-metallic-a-0-2989.jpg">these</a>, in bronze), quite a few boots.
