Prob just water resistant. Will need to wear it to business as well as weekend and travelling. Foldable/packable as well (I always have to transit in tropical Bangkok or Singapore on way back from Nthn Hemisphere:-))... I have worked a system to layer underneath when it gets colder so I can then stack a few pieces depending on where and when I am going. BUT I am looking online as the coats are coming into the stores in Nthn Hemisphere so I am after insights on fashionable looks as well... My travel system will tend to have black pants and dark jeans with flatish black ankle boots under. For travelling to and from work over a black wrap dress as well... I need to replace my one and only coat and need advice on what is on trend classic...I have little need or experience where I live but when I travel it is indispensible. I fly into another country, time, and weather zone... &nbsp;What is a fashionable finish for the coat? padded smooth polyester? a wool/matte finish? quilted? &nbsp;Since it is the key piece travelling it needs to be right.
