I have actually done this for a few Canadian YLFers — most recently I got a pair of sandals for Lisa at DSW and shipped them to her. However, those sandals were not available in Canada at all. By the time we converted the price into Canadian dollars and added the shipping costs (which seem to have exploded in the last couple of years), it still adds up to a significantly more expensive purchase for Canadians than for US customers. I definitely feel for her! Its my go-to denim brand. Its a Dutch brand and when I went into the store in Amsterdam around 20 weeks pregnant the lady in the store took one look at me and found the perfect pair of jeans. She even told me my size. I didnt believe her because the waist was smaller than my regular size AND I was pregnant! but she was right. She chose a low rise one at that point to go under the bump. I was able to wear them maybe for 10 weeks and I could get into them again after giving birth. I wore those things constantly and got complements all the time. Really wish I could go again and try on but here are my picks that I'm hoping to purchase. High rise and straight cut. They do some other washes in that design too. The blue ones are organic cotton and use one of the most eco friendly washes there are (so they are expensive). They are really leaders in the denim innovation front. They work with Italian denim and Japanese denim and are also really popular here in Japan...BUT they don't stock my sizes here and they don't ship here from abroad (probably due to licencing) so I have to get mine abroad or get them sent via somewhere else which is not ideal. But they do ship direct to the US.
