Your 2 cents carries a lot of weight!

I think I was blinded by the quality and feel of the jacket to how the fit and style really worked. Many of the Fabbers very kindly and gently tried to point that out to me - but hey, I'm a stubborn gal - lol!

Will turn around and sell it and put the proceeds towards the RIGHT navy blazer.

FWIW, that's my 2 cents.

When I compare this silhouette, fit and proportion to your other jackets - it's not in the same league despite the superior quality.

Ah. I think that's off too. Although wearing a double breasted jacket open is fashionable, the buttons are too far apart when you do so. Doesn't look quite right.

It's the length of the jacket for the style that I find peculiar. If it were shorter, it would look more cheeky and boxy - and be just find with skirts or trousers.

Thanks for chiming in Angie - yes, the jacket is double breasted. So too long for dresses but too short for pants?

If you're looking for a 10, I don't think the blazer is it, Shannon. The length is off to my eye. It's either too long or too short depending on how you look at it. I do love the sharp shoulders though.

Is it supposed to be double breasted?

Angie, I'm wondering if you could help me out if you have a minute. I recently thrifted this navy blazer (new with tags) that is extremely well made and of high quality. I personally like the oversized shoulder pads and slightly boxy shape as it is something different for me and I've been looking for a navy blazer at an affordable price for a while now.

But having said that, there have been concerns brought up in my posts about it that are leaving me a wee bit confused.

Here's my thread from yesterday with it styled
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-you-think.

Would love to know your thoughts about this jacket and what your keen and experienced style eye sees
