As for whether you should pounce on them, I would say it depends on how much you really like this boot. If you're drooling over it, I would say get them, because you never know if your size is going to be sold out before they go on deep discount. I don't think 25% off is bad at Nordstrom, especially for shoes. But if you aren't super excited about the boots and are in general pretty easy to fit, I think it would be fine to wait, since you will have other options if these get sold out of your size.

I have the boot, but from a previous year, so mine is called "Sosie." They are super comfy, and a nice classic style that I can wear with a lot of things. I like that the buckle at the top allows me to adjust the top width for wearing with tights or with jeans tucked in. I have athletic calves, and they fit me well. My shoe size is usually 7 or 7 1/2 and I took a 7 in these. (I find the sizing typical for Born.) If your size is hard to find, I'd go ahead and get them. Or you could wait and see if they offer them again for the Anniversary Sale. I think maybe they had them this year and maybe last year.

Hi Lisa, welcome! I have tried on the Roxie boot and I found them to be comfy, but they definitely run big. I also will warn you that the shaft height was taller than what is stated on the website. I think they measured the back, which is shorter. The front was about an inch taller. Too tall for me, sadly. Otherwise, I thought the fit and comfort was good, pretty streamlined in the ankle which is a big fit issue for me. (15" calves but tiny 7.5" ankles here). Hope that helps!

Hi
I am new here, trying to soak up as much as possible :)
My question: Does anyone have experience with the Roxy boot by Born? It is apparently a Nordstrom exclusive. I have very tender feet, but have had good luck with Born shoes.
I am looking for a very basic black boot (my first pair actually) that I could wear with tights and knee-ish to longer length skirts. Not sure about tucked in jeans but thanks to this site might give it a try.
The measurements on this boot look good for my particulars, they have my size (a sasquatch-esque 11) and they are 25% off. Should I bide my time hoping for further price reduction or snap them up now?
Thanks!
Lisa W
