I have a 14.75-15" calf and wear a 6.5. I was hopeful about the Frye Trapunto. Took them out of the box, drooled over how nice were, but my foot barely made the ankle turn. When I finally got them on, they wouldn't go all the way up my leg. I think my lower calf is too wide where it should be narrow because I am short. These may work for you since you are taller. </p> <p>The Cole Haan Jodphur were much easier to get on because of the side stretch panel. I had to size up to 7 for the foot width.
